And found a '72 Sprint. :D I got the factory painted boomerangs off it $1.29 each, the grille for $8, the front valance with a few tiny dings $11, the filler panel that goes between the front bumper $7 and a nice late '72 "Fasten Seatbelt" light for free. :yup:

Would anyone be intrested in the white door panels? They were dirty but in great condition. Someone done got the sport mirrors. The front bumper and brackets were rusty to the point where they weren't worth getting IMO.

The grille is broke, but I figgure it's worth at least trying to repair at 8 bucks. If nothing else, it will be great for a driver.

The boomeranges made my day. :29: :yup:

No, I didn't get all the info, and I got half way home before I even thought about it. :slap: If I go back down this week, I'll get it.

I get out of school at 10:30.

Hey Jamie, I was just wondering what the rest of the interior was like. I am in need of some real nice factory white rear kick panels. The door panels aren't deluxe panels are they? Thanks, and great score!

I'm thinking it must have had a repaint if the valance panel was white (or it wasn't the original valance panel).

If only you weren't so far away, or I'd be interested in the rear kick panels. :(

Jamie, one of these days, I am going to meet you in person and kick your a$$!!! :deadhorse

It just ain't fair that you find all that good stuff...ESPECIALLY that CHEAP!

Man, I have a banged up valence and rock guard that I am just gunking up with POR-15 hoping that nobody will notice the dents and bends in them.

I think the wife and I are going to quit our cushy jobs and move in next door to you...that way, I can see when you are out of school and heading to the junk yard, then buy the stuff you find when you get back with it.

I really cannot believe that there is that much Maverick stuff just laying around in Georgia...Really!

    No offense...just REALLY jealous :Handshake

Yes, someone had painted the entire car just solid white. It wasn't till I opened the door and saw the blue running along the top of the rocker and inside of the door jam that I started getting an idea. Then the white interior with blue seats and blue dash was another give away. Then the first thing that hit my mind was boomeranges. And sure enough there were the factory painted ones. :yup: All I can remember is that that one of the codes on the door was RB and the other I think was 9H or 9A, can't remember. The rest of the codes were standard, Trans W (C4), Axel 3 (2.79), DSO 21 (Atlanta). If you look at the middle of the valance where the license plate was, you can see where they didn't get all the blue. I can chip the white paint off and theres blue under it too.

The white panels were not delux. They were standard panels identical to the ones in my '72 except they were white from the factory. The arm rests were blue, the carpet was blue, the seats and dash were blue. The rear kick panels were chalky and the drivers side one was broke in half. The car had a very tired looking 200 6 cylinder.

Scott, come on over. The house across the street from me is for sale. (y)

Dennis, I'll get you all the info as soon as possible and pics.

Jamie all the trouble you went through to get that fine set of boomerangs is worth at least 100 bucks toward the purchase price of a certain car..just my:2cents: ...:D :biglaugh: :D
