    the guy sold the maverick to someone else... even after i fone him and told him i would come get it that day (seeing as i had checked it out the day before) so im on the search again.. which leades me to some more questions..

    how hard is it to convert big bumper cars to small bumpers

    and can u buy repop small bumpers for these cars

    haha sorry guys i know i ask alot of questions

    not too hard. do a search for the swap in the archives and i don't think anyone makes repop bumpers. just gotta find some in good shape and have them rechromed. a good bumper shop can straighten out bumpers if there not too bad. sorry about the car but another one will come along. :)

    do u know how much that whole process would cost.. the reason being i would want to factor in the cost of that to the purchase price of the vehicle

    i haven't had them done yet, but i think about $165 per bumper for the rechroming and bumpers go for whatever. last i asked around here and the junkyard wanted close to $200 for a bumper with brackets. gotta watch the forum or ebay to get a good deal. :)
