Vacuum advance on the distributer?

    Ok guys... is the vacuum advance canister on the distributer of a '74 Maverick - 250 I6 - supposed to have 2 manifold lines? I've got 2 vacuum lines, into a T, that is then run to the intake manifold...

    this sound right?

    Only if you have a dual diaphragm vacuum advance. One line goes (the one in the center) goes to the timed port vacuum on your carb and the other (on the side) goes to full intake manifold vacuum. A Chilton's book can explain it to you more clearly...
