So, I go to buy new mounts for my 302 Comets and the only mounts available currently from RockAuto are Pioneer and Westar, which I now know they are the exact same mount just in a different box.. I actually ordered 2 pairs of the Pioneer and 2 pairs of the Westar. All eight mounts don't line up correctly with the bosses on the engine block. I even tried them on a friends 351W block and same thing.. After further inspection the contact pads on the mounts do not seem to be bent correctly.. If I bolt up either side of the mount to the block, the other hole is about 3/8ths of an inch off.. I was trying to locate a pair of the Anchor brand mounts, but those seem to have dried up, at least for now.. I'm sure its a bad batch.. but who knows how big that batch is.. I'm sure I can grind the bolt holes or try and bend the mounts.. currently assessing my situation. Has anyone had this happen to them?

the mounts are part number EM-2316

I had a similar experience with my Falcon a few years ago with Anchor brand. I had to slot the hole to get the mount to sit flat against the block.

I was talking to a friend of mine about your issue. He said he had the hump issue with a set of mounts a while back, he cut the hump off.

Had the same problem a few years ago. Complained to the guy at Advance Auto about it. He said it was common to have to bend the ears to get them to align. LOL Don't remember the brand but I think they were made in India. I got a refund.
