    Has any one here put a V8 in a Maverick?
    Did it turn out well?
    Does it fit?
    Is it practical?

    '72 Maverick, 347 c.i., w/ dual quads, TKO 600 5-speed transmission, back halved w/ 4-link, '16 F150, 5.0 Coyotte, regular cab, shortbed, lowered 3/5 & 1-owner '79 Trans Am.
    My current car came with a V8 too but I converted my very first one to V8 from 200 ci six. At that time I bought the engine and transmission mounts and V8 specific clutch linkage from Ford but I don't think you will be able to do that now. Welcome from Indiana.
