You'll need v-8 motor mounts that are available from NAPA, and v-8 frame mounts. Someone on here may have the frame mounts or you can try ebay. There is a belly bar that goes under the Oil pan. Also a v8 tranny mount for easier installation of dual exhaust.:)

If your 6 is a 250 you could use your tranny but you will need to change to flexplate to a 157 tooth. If it is a 250 you can also use your starter and alt.Like Don said you'll need v-8 frame mounts and tranny mount for duals or headers. If you use headers you will need to get headers for a maverick, others dont fit. The belly bar is a good idea although some guys are not running them and have had no probs. When you do your electrical you will need to update your module to a blue coded box and at that point maybe concider a duraspark system. these are some of the things we just experinced last week Also you maybe want to swap out your throttle cable for a shorter v-8 cable. It sounds like alot but once you gathered all the parts the swap was straight forward and I would do it again. our engine slipped in the first time no probs and tranny was almost like it was magnetized, went in very easy. of course it doesnt always work that way. my advice is to stay around here and read and ask lots of questions, gather all you parts and then it will go smooth. Lot of guys dive right in and experince alot of head scratching. If you do your homework first this swap is a peice of cake! Good luck!

One other thing while your six is out take a look at shaving those shock towers,it makes life alot easier and maybe the diff in easy and hard swap IMO
