I just bought MOOG RK621369 upper control arms. They come with "straight" in grease fittings. I installed some 90* grease fittings. When I put the arm into place they hit the side of the shock tower and the bolts do not go in all the way. Side note the bolts are 1/4' shorter than my originals. I have seen people put the 90* fittings on, so how did you do it?

I put 90* in the front and straight in the back, as my control arms got moved 1" down and slightly to the rear. This made room for a front 90 and had to make a nickel sized hole in shock tower for the rear zerk. Had I known about those Scott Drake zerks, I might have been able to use one of those in the rear.....they look fairly close fitting. Eehhhh learn something new every day.

you were lucky not to have a hole cut to start with. around here most we see looks like the same person cut the holes. they are about the size of the end of a pop can. Jeff has a pic of the ones on his car. I found the pic. all this hole for a nickle size job...:slap:
I welded a big washer over mine and found a rubber plug to pop into the center.
