While changing the filter on my transmission , the spring that the filter was holding shot out and bounced off of the pan i was using to collect the oil. I was able to find the spring but i cant find the valve that goes with it. I tried passing a magnet around the area but had no luck. Any one know where i can get a new one. Its for a c4. I tried the auto stores but no one there realy knows much except how to search through a parts catalog.

Many thanks. I just so happened to get lucky on a web search and one poped up on for the rockauto website. I went ahead and ordered it. If it happens to be incorrect l see the rebuild shop
