    I have recently built a 302 for my 1970 Maverick wanting to know what it takes to put an AOD Transmission in? I know about the crossmember and I'm wanting to put a floor shifter in. What's need? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please help!

    two 1977 Maverick 2drs.
    what i know for sure on an AOD is the detent/kickdown cable has to be hooked up and adjusted exactly right or it will burn up the transmisson.
