I have a 73 maverick with a 250 6 cylinder. I just bought it and am going through all the fluids. When i pulled the trans dipstick to check for fluids its not regestering at all. Its completely out. I was wondering how many quarts would be around to fill this thing up? I bought one for now but im guessing it would take 4 or 5?
    Thanks in advance guys,
    Mike

It probably isn't completely out, even if you aren't registering any on stick. It takes 6-3/4 qts to fill it, but you probably only need 3 or 4 quarts, if that much.
