I've got the roller motor and c4 setting in the car.

Doesn't look like the cross member I used for the toploader is going to match up to the c4. Can I simply widen the holes where the trans bolts fall into the cross member and use it?

Or do I need a c4 specific cross member.

If there is enough area to lengthen the slots a little it should work fine..... I have done that to the cross member on a few different cars in the past with no issues.....

The C4 and Toploader should use the same crossmember.

Ditto, they both use the same crossmember. If the holes aren't lining up, turn the crossmember around, you may have it backwards.

Problem was the trans mount. Got a new one for a maverick for 9.99 at O'Reilly.

I'll be starting it as soon as I get a good starter on it :)
