    Looks like a good one!
    Hook it into the passenger side cooler line - that is the return on a C4 unless it has been modded before.

    Almost all coolers have 3/8" fittings, The C4 has 5/16" fittings but as long as you set a "bump" in the line with a flare tool you can tighten the hose down and it will not leak or come loose.

    The B&M stacked plate design coolers are much more efficient than the tube & fin design of that Hayden. In fact, you can run a B&M cooler as a stand-alone setup and the transmission will be cooler than running the radiator cooler and a tube & fin cooler. This also allows the engine to run cooler since the radiator is only working on the engine and not on the engine and transmission.

    Anyone concerned about too much cooling and running the trans below operating temp? If/when I get a higher stall converter I'll consider a cooler but wonder if it would do more harm than good. 99% of my driving will be around town with a very occasional romp. So, what's worse, over-cooling it 99% of the time or over-heating it 1% of the time?

    That is a gud question JS, but me not having a gauge on my trans I am in the possible over-cooling category. I don't know what my converter stall is cuz I bought the car w/o that info. The car had been mildy modified and I don't even know what engine I have - all I know is it runs and shifts great.
    I have alway heard that heat is the enemy of trans survival so I have aired on the side of 99% v 1%. Over-cooling might be an issue if I used the car in winter months but that's not the case, so, I guess it depends on variable circumstances - who will be in what category.
