I was looking at the mav and thinking to myself. should i lower the back end of the car a bit? or should i leave it the same? I have mixed emotions. You tell me? -Todd:confused:
I'd leave it man. But it's your car. I think it looks just right though. Nice stance. Just my opinion. But like I said, it's your car. Preston
Nice car,, like those wheels on it. I guess its up to you, I really do like a good rake like you have goin on. As I get older I am liking cars on da ground, so I guess I would vote to lower it. Dan
I'd say take the front and rear both down a bit. then you'll have a nice low stance and keep the hot rod rake. Car looks great though the way it is Todd and it will no matter what you decide to do with it.
I think im gonna lower the back end maybe 1 inch. I like the look of it high in back so ill lower the front too. I put in knuckles in the springs from when i put in the 302 so ill just pop those bad boys out and see how i like it. Im still wondering how its gonna look. well see. i can always put it back.
Why does it sit so high in the rear to begin with? 4-leaf springs? Shackles? Air shocks? I'm curious to know...
YOu could always put bigger tires on the back to fill in the gap Like stated before it sure does look sharp.
Todd, it looks good, but I would have ask the question of why you ask? Maybe it's too high for your taste???
I have four leaf springs with a 2 inch lift and I was wondering because I have always aimed at the stance it has now but I thought it might look cool all lowered. Just curious about the possibilities. -Todd
Where did you get your springs? I got my 4-leaf springs through JC Whitney (had them shipped directly from the manufacturer) and they sat at the stock height. That's why I lowered the front--because the rear did not raise up much at all. I'm gonna take some pics in a week or two so you guys can see the stance...
Todd, I liked the way your car sits, I plan on going the same route, first I'm going to try to add a leaf or two to my stock springs from my donor car
todd, you might try to put some cement blocks in the trunk to see if you like it lowered. that way if you don't you can remove them with little work...frank...
