yes, they should be the same, MOOG part numbers
    70-74 Inner LH or RH ES387L ~ $67 ea
Outer LH or RH ES387R ~ $35 ea

regarding those poly strut rod bushings, you may want to check out
www.prothane.com and view FAQ's about poly bushings.......

as for strut rods breaking using poly bushings, I had mine in my 74 Comet since 1988, front suspension has been modified using higher rate cut down Boss 302 Mustang coils (620 ft/lbs), koni shocks, 1" sway bar, self lubricating graphite impregnated poly lower control arm bushings, I never had rod break........
if in doubt, have a good front end alignment shop check out all your components before doing anything to make sure everything is OK. Remember, vehicle is over 40 years old, parts even though they are made of steel and may look OK, metal fatigue, normal everyday wear and tear etc., can give out. Like everything else in the automotive or anything for that matter, is engineered to last only so long and then be replaced, so play it safe and have front end checked out.
Read up on prothane site regarding poly bushings, even since I first installed poly bushings, technology has improved, better materials are now used, remember there are different types of poly, they are not all the same......anyways, check out their site, lots of great information. Good luck!
