tie rods question

    hello iam stuck i have a 1976 2door i did a 302 v8 swap with a frount stump oilpan and switch to power stering so now win i turn lift or right to sharp the tierods hit that darn oilpan so do i need to put the manail tierods back on thanks

    What year is the power steering system from?

    If it's from an earlier non disc brakes car you will need to put the manual tie rods back on.

    I'm running the PS off a 73 but with the manual 75 tie rods and everything clears fine.

    ok that what i thought the power stering came out of a 74 thanks for the help
