I gotta admit tho, that's the coolest center console I think I've ever seen. Shelby sure knew how to build 'em. Makes me wonder what the shelby mav console looked like .
It's just a regular '69/'70 console with gauges. The gauges were std. on the Shelby but could be bought to add to Mach I's. I'm not saying that that one didn't come in a Shelby, just that there really is nothing unique to them other than the gauge insert. The gauges alone are rare. we paid less for all three mavs weve ever "owned". -72 four door - 500 -75 two door - 500 -70 two door - 100 grand total - not enough for that console -Todd
Shelby Console I think that is a Shelby console. The ash tray in my Mach 1 is where the gauges are on the Shelby console. That little square the relocated ash tray whitch makes it uninque to a Shelby. There are also the fog lamp switches. Also, the storage lid/arm rest is just flat in a Mach 1. You can install Shelby gauges in the Mach 1 console but they are not exactly the same and you lose the ash tray and they interfear with the heater control. Yeah, he will get big money for that. I would like to have it for my car but I would have to put the stock one back for show day! P.S. The only thing that is the same as a Mustang console are the two cups used for the seatbelt buckles and the cigar lighter. Joe
