My Comet is in "The Life Of David Gale"

Well, after 16 months months I was wondering if it was ever going to happen....

Recalling my previous post in the archives on November 1st, 2001: FUTURE COMET SIGHTING!!

Today the movie hit the theaters and sure enough there is a good 5 seconds of the rear of my '77 Comet on the right hand side parked by the curb. If you go to see the movie, it's in a residential scene almost exactly 1 hour into the movie (plus or minus 5 minutes).

Lots of familiar sights here around Austin as well as Huntsville, TX where I went to college.

That's the best pay I ever got for only 5 seconds!:D

By the way, Dennis: I still live in Austin and I haven't forgotten you "little guys"!

Note: Parental advise on the "R" rating. I wouldn't call it a family movie. (There's more than a Comet in the movie)!

No the Comet is too shy for that. It stays mostly under cover. :D

    My Comet in the movie

Well, I had to go see my Comet in "The Life of David Gale" again before it comes out on DVD. (At least I saved by going to the matinee yesterday). :D

From the begining of the movie (Not the previews), the scene is 57 minutes into the story.

Actually, it's a pretty good movie! I'd see it again.

I'll bet people were wondering why you was giving a standing ovation 57 minutes into the move.

Hey, guess I'm gonna have to go see that and see your Comet. You're Comet's already on the big screen before me :( And I've spent years working towards that, what does it have that I don't? lol Congrats though!
