    Nice showing, guys! (y)

We had a good time at my family reunion, but I was thinking and talking about you guys while I was there.

It's great that another Maverick showed up too!

I don't remember ever seeing a picture of Ivy's car with all four wheels on the ground!

I have been wanting those rims, and low and behold, I see them on your car! I even had the pic of them from American Racing (the little sample pic) as my wallpaper on my computer! they are Hopsters, right?

and if Chris isnt on this board, can someone help me out? thanks!!

Thanks Doug for putting this togather. I enjoyed meeting you all and finally getting to see some other Mavs. The pics came out great.

Rusty, I'm glad you like the wheels. They are 17X9.5 Hopsters on the rear and 17X8 on the front. Backspacing is 4.25 on the rear and 4 on the front. Tires are 275/40 and 245/45. You will either have to cut the wheel wells or jack the rear of the car up to get them to fit. Let me know if you have any questions.

What's up Chris...I'm glad to know there a some mavericks running 17's. I almost got the same wheel, but I got the new 17x8 cragers. I'm going to put a mustang cobra center cap in it. Do you lower the car any? If so, how much? I have not came up with the tire that will fit. My backspaceing is 4.5 inches. Also were did you get a maverick hood with the comet gt scoop?
    Thanks, streetrod77

The car has been lowered 2 inches in the rear and I dont know how much in the front. They are 6 cyl spings with 1 coil cut. The wheel wells have been trimmed to accomodate the larger tires and lowered stance. I need to lower the rear another 1-2 inches to get it to sit the way I want it. You may want to use a spacer on your rear wheels to get a tire to fit. I do not have much room left behind mine at all.

That's for the info. I really thought that 245/45 was to big for the front. It still might be because of the 4.5 backspace. I think I will get a 1/4 spacer & see what that looks like. Your car is one of the best I have seen. I hope to join you in a complete custom. I have order a lot of stuff from PST to complete the ride hieght I'm looking for. I just need a hood with the scoop in it.

Yes, Dennis, I'm alive and still "homeless". (Won't be long, though).

To all who brought a car to Waco: I've been in touch with Wes and he is sending me the mini-meet dash plaques. As soon as I get them, I will mail them to you. (y)
