    grill was broke when he got it right david and man you were right to part it those frame rails were really bad.david good luck with the rest of the tear down

    Dave, I need on of the taillight sockets and about 6 inches of the wires. The one for the backup light. It's the one with 2 wires. Not sure wether you want to cut one out of the harness or not. Let me know. Don:)

    What's wrong with it? :hmmm: Looks like every other Maverick I seen. What a waste :naughty:. You guys fix worse than that just save a Mav :mad:

    yup, we dont like Comet parts....:naughty:

    engine runs great, and it's going in my '72


    ill look and see what i have. im keeping almost everything from this car for my brother but i have a '74 GT parts car that should have what u need. send me a pm and remind me to get it for you ;)

    im not prejudiced about comets, i just part them out and let God sort them out.....:biglaugh:

    Ah hell that aint a rusty car.... the steering box aint even fell off yet. I dragged one home with my truck 20 years ago with a big rope and my brother steering the Mav. He lost control of the steering half way home. I dragged it the rest of the way then found out the steering box had tore off the rotten frame. The front of the car actually broke off. Held on by the drive train, hood and fender bolts. Thats how rotten those cars were up here 20 years ago.

    how badly rusted is the metal grille support, the one attaching to the underside of the hood latch going straight down? broke mine yesterday while trying to get the screws off the hood latch...
