Just got finished replacing upper ball joints, lower control arms, outer tie rods, brake pads and calipers. Man it was a lot of work but makes a huge difference in breaking/steering (after an alignment of course) it was so far off before I had it aligned. Problems that were corrected. Steering is way tighter. My car doesn't try and kill me when I brake (I'm sure a lot of you will understand that) and my tires stay straight when you jack the car up.
