Maybe I'm just having a bad afternoon, but is there a trick to removing Mav ('71) strut rod bushings? I got the rods out, but I can only spin the bushings and washers...and they don't seem to be going anywhere!!!

Also, do the available replacement bushing kits come with new washers (the big ones that cover rubber bushings)? I'd like to know before I start grinding on them if I can't figure something else out.

    Thanks,

    Denny Fixmer

They are in two halves ... Remove the metal sleeve going through the center and they should fall out ..

The inner metal sleeve was flared on each end, so I just had to "unflare" one end with a screwdriver and chisel to remove it.

    Thanks

    The washers should be included.

I'll bet you still put the left rear on the right front and right rear on the left front.
