This is also posted in technical, but I thought I'd put it here too. I am wiring my JVC cd player and would like to know frome someone else where they connected their leads. I have a yellow wire for the batt. lead, this is for constant power to mantain the internal memory and clock. I also have a red wire for power when the car is running or ignition in acc position. I am trying to get this done today so any help would be greatly appreciated. THanks.

If your car has a cigar. lighter you can use that for your 12volt constant and you can use the factory switched (acc.) power that went to the original radio. You can ground it to nearly any metal under the dash. If you want you can also go directly to the fuse box but make sure you use the protected side if you use fuse taps (not recommended). Always use a voltmeter or testlight to make sure you have the right wires and if you decide to use an existing wire for your ground make sure you test it for power with the lights on, because some lighting circuits will rest at ground and give you positive voltage with the lights on.
