steering wheels

    I just came across a '77 comet and it has a steerig wheel with a center horn hub instead of the full width horn bar. Was that available on the '77's? I know the car has a replacement hood and has been repainted but something just doesn't seem right. Has the column been changed too?thanks.

    Yes, that type of steering wheel was available on all year Mavericks and Comets.

    does anyone have a pic of the horn with the cap removed or a factory diagram? mine seems to be missing a few parts
