steering again

    hey guys read all the threads for power steering and manual if you had both would you use the power box as manual or just stick with the manual and sell the power ? thanks :huh:

    Use the power box as a manual. Its quicker ratio and usually in better shape.

    power to manual

    How do you change power steering to manual without changin the box
    my power steering leaks badly
    and manual steering is cleaner and adds room to the engine bay.......any help would be appreciated...Jim:huh:

    The 70 maverick I got from my dad has power steering but he say he unhooked because it didn't help much anyway

    Plus you would want to take off the slave cylinder and change that power valve out with one of those adapters available from any mustang supply house. That power valve has lots of play in it.
