What is the correct Ford paint code for the Black used on a Stallion?

My 2 stallions do not have a paint code for the Satin black. My reference book does not have a code for it either. They were from the factory satin black. Code 1C from 1976 is black. It is the only black code for that year and it is gloss according to my info. RPO colors are indicated but none black, they have a 1 after them indicating non polish. My car was wrecked in the rr when it was 2 months old. The black did not match when the dealer fixed it. That is why I painted the entire car in 1978 and used gloss black 99a with a flattening agent. Went straight 99a in the 1984 repaint which it still wears today. Sorry I could not answer your question. If you find the info somewhere please let me know.

The Stallion we had was about a year old when we bought it and it was
flat. I used to do a lot of automotive painting and now most auto paint stores cannot or do not know how to mix flat black. For an 86 GT Mustang I had the local NAPA sells Martin Senour paint and they were able to mix a 30% gloss black that was close to satin. I later had flat mixed by doubling the flattener in the mix and it worked very well. If it helps the Martin Senour brand (Sherwin Williams) mix code for 30% gloss is 99L5533 You can add more flattener if you want less gloss. Although I have yet to use it you can also use a flat clear if you are using base clear. Good luck with the car

Thanks to all I have the Stallion I got from Jean Doll and it is a gloss black but my other Stallion has the original paint except the hood (which is why I need to paint the car) and it is flat black. I have a Valiant that is a flat black that looks close DP90 but a little to flat I am not sure what I am going to do yet
