Was leaving work about 6 last night. I was in the '69.5 sitting on 120 at the red light at Hurricane Shoals Rd., about a half mile up from hwy. 316. A dark blue small bumpered Maverick with bumper gaurds passed me in the turn lane, makeing a right turn off 120 onto Hurricane Shoals. Car had pretty nice looking paint, but no hub caps and appeared to have a serious case of droopy a$$ from worn out rear springs. Looked like a work in progress. There were 2 people in the car, the person in the passenger seat turned around and pointed at my '69.5 when they yeilded traffic before pulling out onto Hurricane Shoals. Just wondering if it was anyone here.

Seems to be good for about two Maverick sightings a year around here.

I pass a two door yellow mav on the way to work just about every day between Loganville and Conyers. He drives from the lake caprie area. Also look in the AJC in classics and there is a 77 four door v-eight for 850 or best offer. Then again there is a foor door in realy good shape siting in the front yard of a house in Lawrenceville around five forks and sugarloaf in a subdivision the house is for sale but dont know about the car. And again there is another mav primered and sitting in a field down the road from me on tanners bridge road.

I've seen that yellow 2 door in Loganville a few times. I've also seen a primered grey 2 door driveing around here a couple of times. There is also a primered 2 door and a yellow 4 door, both small bumpered that I've seen up in Ellijay a couple of times. There is a real nice all original Maroon 2 door with bumper gaurds that's always parked on the side of the street in Ball Ground, GA on weekdays. Old lady that owns it runs a restraunt there.

Never seen the 4 door, but I'll have to go look around. Maybe a deal to be had. ;)

Frank, how many times a week do you go to Summit? :16suspect

There's an orange 75 mav 4 dr right around the street corner, guy lives about four houses from me, he's even parked his car behind mine on a few occasions. I never see him around though. The car is a column shifted auto with a big ol import muffler poking out from under the back bumper. Nicely maintained.. I've been looking for him to make an appearance so we can talk, but no luck yet.

It's rare to see a Maverick besides one of mine driving around here. I may see two of them a year. 98% of Mavericks I see are just sitting somewhere rusting away, or in the junkyard heading for the crusher.

'You know... like' darkish Red, but it's kind of faded.

    You do know right?
