Was driving down Lawrenceville-Suwanee road this morning and came up on a '72 Sprint driving along nice and slow down the road. I did a double take at first because you don't see many Mavericks around here. I passed it up and beeped my horn when I went buy (I was in my '72). I think there were 3 people in the car, guy driving it looked as surprised to see my Maverick as I was to see his. Car was a little on the rough side, looked to be a daily driver, but by no means was it junk. Looked all original. Just wondering if it was anyone on here. This was about 9 A.M. or so this morning. I could have swore someone posted on here from GA that had a Sprint. I came up on the car at Old Peachtree road and passed it and it continued to follow me for about 4 or 5 miles up until I turned off at Russel Road at which point it passed me and continued going straight down 317 towards 120. Car definately sounded like it had a 302 in it, but the guy was going slow as heck, probably only 35 or 40.
I just sold your Fresh Cherries. Nick who? ON a lighter note, I saw a 68 Shelby that was painted "Mustard Yellow," but it was a way cool color and nothing like the babysh*t yellow like on Nick's car. It was a 68 year only and the guy said only 2 were painted that color. I wrote the paint code down. I'm considering it for my Ranchero.
Idea!!! Round-Up!!! Let's get Nick hooked up with some girl at the bar and while he's trying to get somewhere (we'll only pay for one hour) we can be outside spray-bombing his gold car white and blue to look like a Sprint!
is that us painting or nick with the girl. i say get him a blow up doll and a couple of drinks. it'll take him more than an hour to figure out it's not real.
I have seen it several times in the buford area. Yeah its kind of ruff looking but at least its running and being driven.
