Hoping someone can help me with part numbers. I am looking for the part number for amber lenses for grabber grill sport lamps. My parts manual states d2dz-13208 and 9 but that covers several different lenses including the lower parking lenses.

    Any assistance appreciated.

Have to love Fords part numbers ......... :)

13208 and 13209 refer to the parking lamp / directional lens - there was D0DZ = clear, D1DZ = amber

D2DZ is when the grille mounted directional started for 1973 - grille lens

13208-9-A is the sportlamp lens - but it starts with prefix C9WY - have also seen the suffix end 1A but I don't know what the difference is.

    So sportlamps are C9WY-13208-A = RH, C9WY-13209-A = LH

Note: all sportlamps are a plain clear lens - not frosted, fluted or amber. The bulbs are amber which gives them the yellow look. BUT I have opened NOS sportlamps boxes that had clear bulbs in them. I have always thought that this was done on error by the workers and either a lack of QC back in the day or they happened to run out of amber bulbs. The bulb is a plain old 1157A.

You can buy repops of this lens from any Mustang place like Melvins or NPD

    :)
