With the Seahawks winning the super bowl at 43 points, Napa is going to give only Spokane (as far as I know, and what they've said particular stores only) anything, and i mean ANYTHING for 43 % off of the price. Huge time to grab a bunch of stuff at huge savings. If anyone is interested I would be more than happy to help shed some of these savings to others, and be willing to ship everything to your door. Just trying to spread the love... Let me know.
I'll bet someone gets a ass chewing over that one... Can hear it now being pitched to the brass, "no way will they win by more than a couple touchdowns"...
ROFL I know, I was like GO GO GO GO haha I need some stuff!!! Complete brake job for my truck, oil change, wipers, maybe grab a few things for the maverick, also hit up Napa Paint store and grab some professional qaulity primers and high build primers.
I see a shortage of Maverick/Comet Disc brakes and front-end parts... Now would probably be the time to sell any NAPA stocks and use the money to buy car parts! Thanks for the offer, Levi! :Handshake
How much I love making money and especially money to fuel the maverick, I am not wanting to go that route. This is simply a way for me to help the community save a few bucks and get the parts they may or may not already need for their build/maintenance.
Similar thing happened here in Houston. Mattress Mac owns a huge furniture store he built from the ground up (my parents bought a dining set from him, it was just a tent on wooden pallets at that time!). He told Houston that if anyone bought $6000 or more in furniture before the game, and the Seahawks win, he will refund all of their money. He lost over 7 MILLION dollars!!! He is one of the largest donators to the community, so for him, this is just a big donation. Might even get some tax write-off for it.
Sorry Levi, I wasn't implying that anyone was out to make any money off the Maverick community. I was trying to illustrate that NAPA could stand to lose tons of money, and that if a person owned NAPA stock, they should sell it before they lose value, and instead a better investment would be to buy up car parts from them at deeply discounted prices. I realize you are trying to help everyone out. I wasn't being critical of you, I was poking fun at NAPA and trying to imagine what it will truly cost them. Scott's story of the Mattress guy is another example of where I was headed... :Handshake
It sounds to me some one made one heck of a payday on the super bowl win. Great news for you all that live up there.
