Speedometer cable routing

    on a 70 maverick, what would be the correct speedometer cable routing be on a six cylinder, thru the transmission mount or under it , any pictures would be appreciated.

    That's how I ended up doing it , my cable rubs on the exhaust just like yours too

    Mine does not hit the exhaust at all. Several inches from it. If yours rub....it will probably burn thru.
