I took the actual smiley from here, took it apart frame by frame in Adobe Image Ready. Created several identical copies of the pic without the smiley, then edited each frame of the yup smiley into the separate copies of the Comet pic and reanimated the frames with Image Ready. I've got some ideas for a few more, but haven't got around to messing with it yet. In hindsight, I should have done the sport lights like you did. Looks good!

I can animate yours for you if you want. I also made my avatar, which I need to get around to updating with my '73. Have made a bunch of avatars and AIM icons for people on other forums.
