Ive got a 88 fox/5sp donor for my Grabber/auto and I've been pondering on some things any help would be appreciated. I know there is a wealth of knowledge on this board! - anybody found a good spot to mount the ecu? - Think Illl have starvation problems under 1/2 tank with a 65 stang tank, Ron Morris sending unit and an in-line pump? - can I get by using the fox driveshaft to my 9"? same universal? - ok one more I want to use the harness from the fox and modify it to remove all I can from it. Done alot of research but just can find a good write up on it any tips? Thanks so much! ive got a few more but Ill save em. Ive got the dog houses of both, everything un-bolted and ready to start swapin parts. Boy really wish that the mav core support un bolted!
An easy way to eliminate the starvation problems is to run a quart sized resivior between the tank and the pump. I learned about this from a book about swapping GM injected motors into Jags.
Yea the ffi site has alot of info im just new to hackin up a factory harness tryin to absorb as much info as I can. As far as a resivior tank wont I have to run two pumps then? wish i could just use the fox tank under it.
