So.Cal. BBQ Rescedule

    Short notice, but those in So.Cal that want or can get together Wednesday April 12 we will have the delayed Ford show BBQ at my place starting at 5:pM in Burbank.

    Coop, Cliff and I will caravan our Mavericks from the Lakewood/Cerritos area at about 4:pM to Burbank.

    If you can make it, please let me know. Caravan is optional.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    do i have to bring my maverick? i'm gonna bring my rice rocket just for Coop!

    Thanks to Derick, Cliff, Rod, Kathy and Coop for comin over. Great time bench racing. Derick, too bad ya had to drive the family wagon over. The MAVERICKS and COMET (remember Coop has a COMET) looked great in front of my house!

    Lots of drivers took a good hard look at us cruzin up the 5 fwy at rush hour.

    We will have to do this again soon.

    thats Derrick with two "R"s :p and thats NOT a Family Wagon... whens the last time you saw a dropped wagon with 18in rims on it with a carbon fiber hood? :p

    did you know Bob owned a datsuns! cliff owned a pinto and a vega! and coop a camaro and his son loves rice rockets!! :smash: what a bunch of closet car owners :D
    but yes nice seeing 3 "MAVERICKS" in front of your house! :rofl2: god i;m in for it... poor Coop he can't even defend himself now:biglaugh: ! boy am i gonna get it!

    but really bob thanks for the invite! and the great burgers! tell your son thanks for cooking! hope to see all of you guys again... cliff and coop have a safe trip back on friday!

    I will try and do this again Father's day weekend. I do the same basic thing then and we have pine wood derby races as well. Guys that come in to L.A. for the Roadster show come by.

    Last year we had over 30 people and it was a lot of fun.
