I knew the 77 had some frame rust around the left torque box but this is more than I thought was there. Luckly, this is the only bad spot and is easily repairable. Believe it or not, that is where the power steering cylinder bolts to.
dennis, are you going to do a full resto on the 77,like you did on your sprint?or are you fixing it for a daily driver type car?do you have a full pic?:bananaman
The 77 has been a daily driver type for over 4 years now. I basically threw it together in 3 months to make my first roundup in 99. I am taking off my hood & scoop and replacing it with one of my Grabber hoods since I dont care for them anyway. It had a grabber hood on it when I first painted it. I also switched wheels with the Comet GT I bought cause I didnt like them either. I am going to sell it to a friend who prefers the Comet wheels and grabber hood so it works out in the end. I knew I needed to fix the frame before I sold it so I finally crawled under there to assest the damage. There is a good picture of it on the MCCI websight. Its a 77 so disc were standard.
I've been looking at the car for 22 days now. Just 9 more days to go and it will be another Maverick! lol
Yea, I hope the new calender gives names, city, and state. It would be nice to know who's car were staring at for a month at a time.
does your car have to be in the calendar,to get one?also where are they aval?would like to get one for 2004.
Now see Dennis, you are making me feel like a failure! I did not get the names and locations in this calendar. I suggested it back in January that the owner of the cars for each month post a little info on them.
Oh well, there's always next year. Besides John, if you did everything right, We wouldnt have any fun picking on ya.
