My 73 mav is missing the knob that is used to adjust the side mirror. Anyone found a good substitue?

There is a replacement Mustang knob that is self threading. Any Mustang supplier has them. I have one on my car. The shaft is a little slimmer and a little longer but it works well.

About a $10 repair. Drill out the old one and screw in the new one.

Cool, mine's been broke for almost 30 years, I figured they were one piece!

I didn't even have to get the drill out. I grabbed mine with a set of vise grips and twisted it back and forth until it just pulled out. The factory one is just pressed in and not threaded.
