Shorty short qwestion?

hello will sanderson model ff3 small block ford block hugger shorty fit? i can get some never mounted ceramic coated ones fer 200 is that a good price?

 

fit a mav or comet i mean?

That would be "anybody".

Never heard of them....so I would guess no...they won't fit.

 

I've never heard of them either. I'd be leery unless they spcifically said they were for a Maverick or Comet.

 

I have heard of Sanderson but don't know anyone that has tried them on a Maverick or Comet.

 

they said that they fit mustang and they are "block huggers" for a 302 and newer style 5.0 heads

Firewall Clearance?

I have Doug Thorley shorties that I haven't installed yet. People here have mentioned an issue with the DT right header pointed at the firewall. Looks like these might be angled down even less than the DTs.

 

The Thorley headers don't have the right side issue, it's the shorty Headmans, I have Thorleys on my car, no issues.

Those headers may have the issue. Looks like they don't point down much.

 

Those look like 5.0 headers.
Not saying those headers won't work, but 5.0 headers don't work on our cars.
That passenger side collector points backward too much for me, as was posted by others as well. Mustangs have more clearance at the firewall than our cars.
