shocks which brand or type??

    Crawling around the new addition I found Air shocks.. I am running on a low budget and want to replace them with standard shocks (i aired them all the way down) any suggestions on type or brand of shocks for the rear??? Running a 302 street rod no real track racing maybe two to three days a year.. Mainly hard street drivin....

    if you want good launches... 90/10 for the front.. and the back.. i have no idea

    I use KYB GR2's front and rear. Love 'em, and they ride smooth.

    I run Monroe O.E.M.-style gas-charged shocks. Cost me $11.00 each and work great. Unless it's a race car, you don't need anything better for the rear of a Maverick/Comet...

    Sold my 1974 Comet - Looking super nice 73 Maverick near Memphis
    I got reg. oem type from Advance Auto like $12 each--lifetime guar..not sure if mine or the cars? I think with the 302 the Kyb's might be better investment on the front.
