I want to hook up the sequential lights on my mav. I have the t bird lights and the web electronics stuff but I did a search and saw where some have run a extra wire and relays for more power. my question is what relays and size wire do I need and how to hook them up? if anyone has any pics of theirs that would help out a lot. thanks in advance russell

I used the factory wire but the circuit breakers in my light switch didn't like the extra current. I jumpered out the internal circuit breakers and installed higher current external breakers. Three breakers, one each for marker/tail lights, headlights, and brake lights.

The wire to the brake lights, at least in my car, is 16 AWG. The bright filaments of 1157 bulbs draw about 1.5 amps each for a total draw of nine or so amps. Well within the ampacity of 16 AWG as long as the wire is in good shape and you have good grounds. Speaking of grounds, I also added ground wires from each light housing to a bare spot on the trunk latch support for better grounding.
