I have a72 Grabber LDO. bucket seats and the shoulder strap. The SEAT belts that are in the car NOW do not retract, they just lay beside the seats. I dont know if someone replaced the seatbelts or not. Did 72 Grabbers have retractable seatbelts with the LDO edition? Im tring to make this as stock as i can.

    Thanks Guys!

I had a 72 and it did have retractable belts. And that was a very plain maverick.

huh? you say they where non-retractable?
Well mine were retractable, I sold that car ages ago though.
And it was a plain jane with a 250. And my grandmother bought it brand new in the day, don't think she ever change the belts.
    Just my 2 cents.
LDO's might not come with retractable, but you would think they would because of it being a lux option.
    huh?

Early 1972 Mavericks (like mine) were non-retractable. All 1972 Maverick LDO's came with retractable belts, as the LDO was a late model year option.

No, but it'll tell you if it's a Grabber.

OK so what dont you know?? Your a ton of help but damn you'd think we could have stumped ya already. :)

My belts are non-retractable. Need to change them though. I just dont trust 36 year old fabric. Its the only safety device on it so I should make sure its up to snuff.
