every year on fathers day thier is a car show at nay-aug park in scranton. i have been going for the last 22 years. It seems funny that i can only remember seeing 1 maverick. a guy i went to school with would be there with his 1972 blue grabber, what a good one it was. he has passed on 2 years ago. after i parked my car and was heading to the show cars. when in line to set up was a 1976 2 door bronze maverick. my eyes lit up and i could not wate to see it up close. i stood ther waiting to see were he was going to park, as gto's 53 merks and all the hot cars went by with my eyes looking at nothing but the maverick. it was in good shape but the new paint was clouldy and the motor was black with grease. all and all i would buy it in a heart beat. nice big buckets and he had 15in. mags. he said he had it 8 years( i dont think so) in 8 years he didn't clean up the motor. it made my day just to see another maverick, i have my maverick just a couple of months and this was the first one i saw.
If I had known about that show we would have been there. There is a show this Sunday up in Clifford we are going to. It's not a big show, but they usually have a good turn out. If you get a chance, come on up. We would love to meet another Maverick owner.

Joe,the show is on Sunday, June 27th at the Clifford Twp. Firemans Picnic Grounds on Route 106. The show starts at 8:00 am. My husband likes this show because if you get there between 8:00 and 10:00, each show car gets a free breakfast. Hope to see you there.
