Today I brought home an '88 Mark VII LSC. It has a great running 5.0 in it as well as a posi, disk brake rear end. Im going to pair these parts with heads/cam/intake, and put the HX40 on there for good measure. :bouncy:

Anyone need any Lincoln parts? :D

    Nice score on the Lincoln!

I have always loved the Mark VII. It was a great needed change in design from the Mark VI of the early 80's, to get us Ford lovers out of the dark ages. I truely think that the Mark VII, particularly the performance based LSC, will someday be as sought after by car restorers, as an early Cougar or Mustang is today. Think about it. What cars from the 80's that are now taken for granted, will or kids and grandkids be fixing up someday?

Here is a site devoted to the Mark VII - enjoy!

Nice score. Does it have power bucket seats? Might be a neat thing to add to my 57 Ranchero.

It does, but the interior is pretty roached out. Wouldnt be worth the time or shipping.

Acornridge, I love the VIIs too. They are sleek rides and can be made very fast. This particular car is beyond repair which is the only reason I dont mind parting it out.

t-birds are a good source for power seats. especially the turbo birds if you can find them. Most of them were completely optioned out. I put a set in my dad's pinto.

I've been looking at the Mark VIIIs and the more I look, the more I like. The Mark VIIs are nice, but there's just something sexy about the Mark VIII. The all aluminum DOHC 4.6 is nice too. That block is bullet proof for the most part. You're a blower away from 400 + HP. I also like the LS. I think that will be a car that people will go for later down the road. Especially the early models with the manual trans. I can see some engine swapping going on there. I think they could have sold more cars with the V8 and the manual gearbox. Their only competition in that market was BMW. I'm a big fan of the lincoln.
