    wow that's light

    thanks Rick.
I'm searching for a list of specs right now.
I'll post them if I find them.
the reason I ask is I pitched a lot of weight out of mine and it now weighs in at 2710
just curious how much I lost.

Mine now has a 9" rear, 347 c.i., 6 pt roll bar, - all the evil necessaries -weight! Add another 38lbs worth of giggle gas & bottle.

I can't imagine my car weighing that little. It was shipped from St. Thomas (mfg plant). I'm guessing they might have fudged a little on the weight as I'm sure they were charged by tonage.

I recently had both of my Mavs weighed. Both are 70s, but they are very different. The all stock one has a 170 ci six manuel trans, brakes and stereing with full interior. It is 2560 lb with a full tank. The other Mav has a 351w C4 9 inch rear Manuel bakes and stereing full fiberglass front end ie. hood fenders bumper valence. It also has AFR heads and aluminum intake, No back seat, no spare tire, no heat, no radio, lots of stuff under the dash removed, and it weighs 2780 lb with a full tank.

    2400lb!!

    Sweet!
Would you mind terribly letting me know as many details as you can remember?
    How fast are you running?
I'm hoping for low 11s without completely gutting the car, but I think traction may be against me.
    Thanks,
    -Ray

    sweet!

    That is beautiful!
    Is the body all steel?
My set up is about halfway between yours and stock.
Aluminum headed small block, pitched the front seat and all the rubber mat and asphalt sound deadening mat.
I still have a dash and a back seat, but I think the back seat had better go since no one can get back there anyway.(Summit seats don't tilt to let you in)
Curiosity forces me to ask about the second battery.
Are you not running an alternator, or is it so the weight is balanced side to side in the back?
I'm thinking a full nitrous bottle weighs about the same as my Orbital battery.
    Again, nice car!

    Much appreciated.

    Thanks Fordman.
I haven't quite made it to the track yet, so I don't know where the cars weaknesses are yet.
I refuse to open it up on the street. Leave that to the 17 second honda idiots.
I'll definately take you up if I get stumped on anything.
So cool to see people willing to help each other out without even knowing each other.
