Hello to all members.I stopped a young man yesterday after passing this car on a trailer and chasing it 2 miles back to the scrap yard where he was in line to crush this awesome car.He said he needed some money.I immediately called my dad who is restoring a comet GT,he said bring it to his house.after a quick look dad gave him 200.00 and its in so good shape my oldest son wants it instead of a 68 cougar. The story has just began.I think its a sprint as its old two tone(white w/blue bottom)seems to be.Does anyone know how i can tell what model it is for sure. Its a 1972 v/8 auto,w/power steering and A/c.Great forum ,glad to be a member

    WOW!!! What a deal...even if it's not a Sprint!
Look at the vin sticker in the left door jamb and see if it has RB as the interior trim code. If so, it is in fact a Sprint!!!
Oh yeah, welcome aboard! :Handshake Post pics please!

He confirmed to me that it does have the RB trim code, so yes, it is a highly optioned Sprint.
