    I need to know what rpm you are turning with a std tire at 60 mph with a 2.79 gear. thanks, jim. non o/d trans.

    You do realize that that number is only approximate with an automatic transmission don't you? The torque converter can cause variations of RPM up to 1000 RPM with a stock converter and more with a high stall converter. (depending on speed and engine)
