I have been talking to the drag strip that is about a half hour from New Castle, IN. To book the track for thursday evening for a PRIVATE Maverick/Comet racefest we would be looking at $500. Now, that is pretty much unlimited passes and racing and whatever else we want to do.

If we have 10 racers show up...that would be $50 per car. If we have more...the cost per car would go down. The MCCI would need firm commitments to do this, as well as payment in advance to book the track.

For those of you interested in doing this...let me know what you think.

    That sounds like fun!!

Count me in for a couple of time trials---just don't tell my wife!!

(I'd just like to see what my little-more-than-stock 289 will get me).
