For those of us that have done a disc swap using Granada rotors ,what wheels are you using. Aftermarket or OEM. It seems most wheel companies do not list the size of the center hole. I wanted to use 15x8 styled wheels but was told they will not fit.
I found out the hard way about the center opening after I put discs on the front. Got a flat tire on my way to Roundup last year and my old spare didn't fit over the disc's larger hub. Never had a problem with the 15x8 Cragers not fitting though.
Aftermarket rims are going to fit without issue. It's the stock stuff that you have to worry about. I know 72 and earlier use small hubs, and that 74 up use large. Don't know about 73. I am swapping in small lug discs off a 68 Fairlane so I don't have that issue. Dave
I don't mean to argue, much.... It is the bearing size. My 72 drum rims won't fit my 75 drums or my 74 discs (large bearing spindles), however my 72 drum rims will fit my 68 Fairlane/69 Stang discs (small bearing spindles). Dave
I have a set of 68 GT rims that I had to put on a lath and turn the centers bigger. It wasent much, something like 1/8" total.
Thanks to all who responded. I will probly go with aftermarket wheels. I thought all Rangers had discs. I realy wanted to use repro styled wheels in 15x8 because I found them for $145ea. .Maybe I can find some Keystone Classics in the right size??
