I upload some Brazilian road racing pics to the gallery and here are some of them. Besides Gunslinger68, does anyone else road race (not Street race) their Maverick/Comet?

No, but I think I might if I ever get tired of drag racing.

I like straight line racing and racing with both left and right turns. I do not care for making just left turns.

I tried Autocross running by times but didn't do so good. Maybe I will be better with a 5 speed, more torque, and different suspension.

I cannot stand to see Brazilian cars...they have so much pride in the Maverick (unlike MOST North Americans) and apparently have access to really nice parts...

I guess I am just jealous

Cool pics. My idea of the perfect Maverick is what is termed nowadays as "Pro Touring" (like what Lance is building). I just don't have the money to build one, so I am going for the classic muscle car/pony car thing...

That orange car in the pictures looks nasty!(In a good way)I agree They really like their Mav's. If you look on the Brazilian Ebay, when you convert the dollar, they pay big bucks for a nice GT.
