I have an opportunity to buy a set of 4 17" Dodge Stealth rims for $50 with tires. I don't want to pass up this opportunity, but I'm not quite sure if they will fit. Other than taking my car all of way over there to try them out is there any other way to know? Is there any place online perhaps that has a database of the offsets of factory wheels for different types of cars? Anything like that? Any help appreciated.
Your Mav has a 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. There may be a question of the front hub fit also. More important is whether the 17" wheels & tires will clear the wells or not, and even if they did, whether there would be rub under bouncing and turning. You don't have the clearance space of a 4x4 truck under there.
I understand the clearance issues, but the rims have low profile tires and I'm quite sure that clearance won't be a big problem. I tried seeing if the bolt pattern was the same, I layed my maverick spare on top of one of the rims and when I lined up the holes I could see down straight through both rims, so it seems to me that the offset it correct.
I found that both my maverick and a stealth AWD turbo have these numbers 5X114.3 I believe that is the offset. My maverick is 5 lug, did any of them come 4 lug?
