removing headrests

    Does anyone know how to remove the headrest out of the benchseat of a 76 maverick?

    Just grab and yank hard. But dont plow it into your headlined and tear it up!!

    The plastic rectangular trim piece under the headrest has a retainer clip in the seat. You may be able to push a thin piece of metal down it between the support and the trim piece on the front side to release the clip. That's what I did when I recovered the seats on the Stallion.

    If you yank up on them real fast.....they come right out.
