    greetings, all.

Okay, after much thought, I think I'm gonna hold off on the 302 swap (for now). I began looking online and can find all varieties of rebuild kits for 302s, 200s and 170s...but none specifically for the 250...has anyone here done this to their 250, or know a Texas-based shop that has a good selection of small-ford performance?

    thanks again

Yep, Ford Six is a great site for these engines. Those guys can tell you anything you would ever want to know about that engine.

Why rebuild a 250 when you can buy a running 5.0 roller motor for under $350?

Seems like the price is right, it fits, and only needs minor mods. Plus, lots of extra horsepower.

But, that is just my opinion.

Take that from a guy who has taken a 74 302 with 8:1 compression, put on GT40P heads, Hooker headers, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb on a Torker 289, new cam, but REFUSES to change out the pistons until they start to smoke...

Never mind me, listen to the other guys....
